Helping women who have been trafficked or imprisoned after seeking employment in a foreign country.
Providing care and opportunities
For the past 11 years, Olive Branch Outreach has been helping women who have been trafficked or imprisoned after seeking employment in a foreign country. These women are often unlawfully charged, overworked, starved, physically abused, cut off from family and friends and have their salaries and passports held and their movement restricted. They end up in prison or a Safe House waiting for their individual cases to be processed so they can return to their home country. They are often young, frightened, hungry, cold, wounded and depressed. Many are suicidal. 70% have children waiting for them at home. Our local team meets with the women every week and encourages them with counselling, fellowship, a warm meal and provision of basic personal care items. Thank you for your support of this ministry of hope and healing.
