Empowering Refugees

Building up for the future

We empower refugees not only by helping them with their immediate physical needs such as food, shelter and clothing, but also by helping them build skills for future employment and language learning as they wait for their move to a new country. Language and computer classes for the men provide a daily destination and the semblance of a 'job' for them, enabling the women to work calmly at home and care for the children. Women take classes in the evenings. Working through local leaders in the Middle East and Europe, we focus on encouraging and empowering these people as they build a new life.
